The Farewell
Tonight there’s going to be a party,
We’ll be having a wine and cheese night,
It’s going to be up the hill in the other direction,
So hopefully they will find it alright.
We decided to have it in Hollywood,
As we thought it would be best,
We will have the block to ourselves,
And watch the sun set in the west.
There is Amanda, the quietest of the bunch,
She is an ex-school teacher and all,
At times in a world of her own,
Putting her thoughts and emotions into pictures on the wall.
Don’t forget the Rocko girl coming along,
Olivia who is a hostage to the mop
It’s a very thankless job at times,
Though it allows her to indulge and shop.
Kristy who thinks she is the boss of the kitchen,
Has been invited along as well,
We all felt sorry for her when we climbed the hill,
As she had to keep stopping for a spell.
And now for the other, at whose place we all meet,
Chris is the one known as the S-EMO,
Who is not looking forward to the day when,
The contract expires and you all have to go.
On that note, let’s have a great night,
With good wine and great company to top,
You never know what the path ahead brings,
Maybe you’ll see the EMO in the kitchen with a mop.
