Roast Chicken/Steak with Tomato, Bacon & Chilli Sauce

I’m sure you’re used to the bland taste of the meats on offer for crib lunches.  This simple trick will help you make it taste a bit different.

Collect the usual fare on offer but take with you one packet of Continental Cup-A-Soup “Tomato, Bacon & Chilli”.

  1. Heat up your chicken or steak in the microwave to warm it.
  2. Pour your soup powder into a paper cup and add half a cup of boiling water stirring slowly until the soup is the consistency of a thick, creamy sauce.
  3. Add the ’sauce’ over the top of your chicken or steak and serve with whatever salad or veg you’ve brought with you.

This recipe works well with Cup-A-Soup “Creamy Mushroom”, “French Onion” (with pepper added) or “Thai Laksa”
